To report a child’s absence, parents are asked to call in, ring 01257 791490, email bursar@charnockrichard.lancs.sch.uk or report the absence on parentapp. Not doing so will result in an unauthorised absence. It is also important that children arrive in school on time to avoid a late mark.
Holidays should be taken during the school holiday periods. We would like to strongly advise that taking your child out of school will undoubtedly interrupt your child from making expected levels of progress. When this is not possible, permission should be sought beforehand from the Headteacher by completing an leave of absence request form. Parents who take a child of compulsory school age on holiday in term time may be issued a penalty notice. Please see the links below.
