Foundation Stage

A very warm welcome to our Foundation Stage Class page.

I am Mrs Shepherd, and I have the great privilege of teaching Foundation Stage this year. Mrs Marshall will work alongside me within class each day, with Miss Birchall.

Here, we focus on creating a warm, nurturing environment where our youngest learners can explore, play, and grow. Through hands-on activities, creative projects, and engaging lessons, we support each child’s development in a fun and encouraging way. Our classroom is filled with curiosity, excitement, and discovery, as we build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social skills. We value individuality and aim to inspire a lifelong love of learning in every child.
